Payment policy :
• Hawaii State General Excise Tax (GET): 4.5% (4.0% state + 0.5% Maui County surcharge). If you separately pass the GET on to guests, the maximum pass-on rate is slightly higher due to how GET is calculated.
• Hawaii State Transient Accommodations Tax (TAT): 11.0% (effective January 1, 2026).
• Maui County Transient Accommodations Tax (MCTAT): 3.0%.
